Once your scope is confirmed, we’ll issue a guaranteed fixed-price quote — not an estimate. No hidden extras, no guesswork, just a clear and final project cost.

We don’t price match, but we’re open and fair. If you’ve received a like-for-like quote, we’ll review it and do our best to find common ground without compromising quality.

✅ Realistic Timescales

✅ Pay As You Go

Our phase-based payment structure keeps both parties protected:

70% is due when each phase starts
30% is due once that phase is completed and signed off

This system ensures steady cash flow and keeps your spending in check, while giving you confidence that you're only paying for work that’s been done.

All work carried out by Copperwood Construction Services Ltd is backed by a 12-month guarantee. Extended warranties and additional insurance options are available on request.

Our Project Process

We break down your journey with us into clear, manageable stages:

1. Initial Enquiry & Feasibility

We begin by asking:

• How did you hear about us?
• Where are you in the process?
• Do you have drawings or planning permissions?

If you need support, we can recommend one of our trusted architects to help bring your vision to life.

2. Feasibility Costing

With early concept drawings, we can prepare a feasibility budget, typically within two weeks. This provides a cost benchmark before deeper design commitments are made.

3. Site Visit (If Required)

We offer professional, chargeable site assessments to help us better understand your property, access constraints, and any site-specific considerations:

• Half Day (up to 4 hours, including travel)
• Full Day (up to 8 hours, including travel)

The duration includes travel time to and from our office in Motherwell, which may reduce the time available on site.

Please note:

Site visits are chargeable, non-refundable, and must be paid in full upon receipt of invoice to secure the appointment date.

Cancellations with more than 3 working days’ notice may be rescheduled once at no additional cost.

Cancellations within 3 working days, or failure to provide site access, will result in forfeiture of the full fee.

Rescheduling is subject to availability.

4. Estimate Stage

Based on drawings and site insights, we’ll send you a comprehensive estimate — outlining costs, provisional sums, and key notes.

If you'd like to proceed: We will require a non-refundable deposit to engage us as your main contractor.

This deposit will be calculated based on the overall value of your project and confirmed at the time of agreement.

5. Fixed Price Quotation

Once details are confirmed, we issue a guaranteed fixed-price quote. This includes:

• Finalised project cost breakdown
• Detailed construction timeline
• Phased payment schedule
• Construction contract for your review

🔁 Any variations will be managed through a simple, transparent process so you stay in control of your budget.

6. Construction Phase

Work begins using our structured, transparent model:

• Each phase is clearly scoped and priced
• Payments are tied to progress
• You sign off each stage before we move on

You’ll receive regular updates and walkthroughs, explained in plain English — not just technical jargon.

7. Communication & Sign-Off

At the end of each phase, we conduct:

• A physical walkthrough with you
• A full explanation of the completed work
• A sign-off to confirm satisfaction before moving to the next step

This prevents future snagging and ensures clarity at every stage.
